Holy Ghost Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church
Holy Ghost Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church
Holy Ghost Ukrainian Church opened its doors in November of 1913. Although the original building (called the Holy Ghost Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church) burned down in 1933, it was rebuilt by the parish the following year. Today, it is the only Ukrainian church in Canada east of Montreal, and serves the largest Ukrainian community in Atlantic Canada.
